Further proof that movies are running out of ideas

So I was watching T.V and a commercial came on for a new movie. I was all like," hmm this looks cool"

Five seconds later I realized it was for a new movie based off of something retarded

SPEED RACER.

FOR CHRIST SAKE THEY'RE MAKING A MOVIE FOR SPEED RACER. FIRST RESIDENT EVIL AND NOW THIS.

WHAT NEXT, "SUPER MARIO; THE MOVIE"

Well, if they were making a movie for mario, I'd watch it :)

BTW the movie comes out May 9th

ah, so you're too young to remember the "Super Mario bros." movie. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. It.. was atrocious.

And the Speed Racer movie actually does look very good. It seems like they did a good job of keeping to the old anime feel to it while adding in some modern elements. Though, I'll admit, it's probably going to be cheesy as all get-out
